Mission Statement

To provide quality volleyball education and experience through a strong and competitive program at the lowest cost possible to committed youth.

History

The Ikaika Volleyball Club is a Non-Profit Organization established in 1996 by Ilona Robison as a developmental program.  Throughout the past 12 years, Ikaika has included players from all over Southern Utah and parts of Nevada and Arizona.

The Ikaika Volleyball Club provides the area's most advanced level of volleyball training for girls of all abilities and gives the female athlete the opportunity to pursue a volleyball scholarship.  Ikaika has consistently finished in the Gold Division of the Intermountain Region and has placed well in National tournaments such as the Lonestar and Crossroads Qualifiers.

In 2004, Ikaika received a bid to the Junior National Invitational Championships where we finished in 15th place, making Ikaika the first club in Southern Utah to receive and accept a bid to a post season Championship event.

In addition to competing well in tournaments, Ikaika has been very successful in obtaining collegiate volleyball scholarships for 23 of our 25 graduated seniors.  Ikaika has obtained over $750,000 worth of scholarships for these 23 athletes.  Because of the training and exposure gained from the Ikaika Volleyball Club, five of these athletes played at NCAA Division I Universities, as well as having several at NCAA Division II Universities.  Ikaika has also had seven of our athletes selected to the Intermountain High Performance program and one of our athletes receiving Intermountain and National recognition.  Ikaika's goals are not only to win volleyball matches but also to get college scholarships for each graduating athlete who desires one.  Obviously, academic excellence is a requisite for a successful collegiate experience, and Ikaika strongly encourages and supports such academic excellence.
